Whether it's the rich Cambrian soils of the Heathcote region for Shiraz or the cool climate, long ripening seasons of the Yarra Valley for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Marké is passionate about making wine that feels grounded in place, shaped by intuition and driven by discipline.
Marké is more than a wine label; it's a continuation of heritage. Henning Rathjen, the pioneering vintner who first planted vines in Heathcote in the 1860's, began a story of bold beginnings and enduring craft. Today, Marké stands as a bridge between past and present, honouring that legacy by producing wines that are refined, distinctive and harmonious on the palate.

Shiraz 2021
Heathcote
The fruit for this shiraz is sourced from three, low yielding vineyards along the William fault line in the Heathcote region. The interplay of terroirs enriches the final wine, layering its palate and aromatic profile with dimension unattainable from a single site.
Pinot Noir 2024
Yarra Valley
Handpicked from select Yarra Valley vineyards, this Pinot Noir is delicate yet persistent. It's beautifully fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows ripe cherry, thyme and nutmeg aromas, followed by a juicy palate offering fine texture backed by polished tannins.
Chardonnay 2024
